Take cues from your search stats and then give readers what they want!

You know sometimes you have to go with the flow. Instead of trying relentlessly to rank high for a predetermined set of key words, take cues from your stats and run with them. What exactly does that mean?

If you’ve been trying desperately to achieve high ranks for “golf tips” to no avail, but you’ve noticed that Google has been sending you traffic from longer strings of keywords such as “where can I find golf shoes that fit my fat feet” or “why the heck don’t they make bigger golf shoes.” No, maybe you shouldn’t rush to write a post that uses these exact keywords, but you could take a cue and start devoting some space to things you hadn’t thought of before.

Why not write a post about where to find hard to find golf shoe sizes? Why not, promote hard to find golf item? It will only expand and diversify your income? It will create a bigger opportunity to earn – so go for it.

Anytime I get traffic from keywords for content that I currently don’t have on my site, if it’s related, I do my best to add it to please potential readers, maybe the next person will stick around and click some stuff. You never know!

Great advice! I haven’t been paying attention like I should. I’ll be doing better.
